11-17-2025 - Good Morning! It's Monday, and I hope our mailboxes are full of good things. Were you around during the Mail Order ebook craze? Well, it wasn't exactly a craze, but a number of ebooks were published with various items, such as reprint reports, advertising, and you name it. When I got into it, we were still publishing on 5.25-inch disks. Then came the 3.5-inch disks that would hold almost twice as much data. Popular ebook software such as eDitor, Writer's Dream, Pop-a-Book, and others made it all possible. Those were fun times. My Folgers Black Silk coffee is ready!
--- Noah was the first businessman mentioned in the Bible. He floated a company at a time when the rest of the world was under liquidation.
--- We don't do programs here, but for some reason, the old Once A Month Association, or OAMA, popped into my head. I think the originator passed away well over a decade ago and the program along with him. I have not seen mention of OAMA in years. It was one of the early gifting programs. The program cost $15 to join. Of that $15, $10 went to the member who recruited you and $5 went to the program originator. You had to send in $15 each month to remain a member. In return, you got to keep $10 per month from everyone you recruited. It wan't multi-level, but apparently a gifting program since no product was involved. I don't think the term gifting even existed then.
--- For years, I've read that the correct amount of toothpaste on the brush was about the size of a pencil eraser or a pea. The instructions on my toothpaste say to apply at least one inch. Sounds like a way to make me use up more paste without more results. That's just my opinion. Your mileage, or inchage, may vary. Is inchage even a word? From the Urban Dictionary: "The area in square inches of your property that you own after you have paid your monthly mortgage payment." That's just one more reason to start a Mail Order selling business!
11-16-2025 - Good Morning! It's Sunday. I mailed more "site announcement" postcards, along with an adsheet advertising order yesterday. The adsheet was a "100 circulation" model. We need more of those! I'll probably address more cards today for mailing tomorrow. Do I have your product or service ad for the Mail Dealer Ads PDF file? My Folgers Black Silk coffee is ready.
--- According to a story at CNBC, the price of the explosive TNT has risen from 50¢ per pound to over $20 per pound over the last several decades. This has led to price increases in sectors such as construction and energy production. I have to admit that TNT was one of the last things on my mind today.
--- Remembering Victoria Ring, paralegal and author of 22 books, hundreds of articles, and the series "Victoria's Reports", promoted in the popular Mail Order magazines and tabloids. Those reports contained valuable information for home-based, extra-income entrepreneurs and included reproduction rights. I bought a handful of them, but they have disappeared over the years. Victoria passed away in 2011.
11-15-2025 - Good Morning! It's Saturday. I wonder what would happen if certain Mail Order Dealers were to give a prospective employer a résumé in the same condition as the sales material they send to me and others. Isn't distributing sales material to prospective customers the same thing? Would these folks hand an employer a résumé that was a copy of a copy of a copy, the original having been placed crookedly in the copy machine, complete with black specks from a dirty copier glass scattered about? I guess they might. On a related note, I think more Mail Order Dealers should break away from the standard sales materials that accompany various offers and describe the offer in their own words. That's exactly what you get to do on the Mail Dealer Ads PDF file! What's in your mailbox? My coffee is ready!
+++ Economists say we must devalue the dollar. What do they think Congress has been doing the last 20 years?

--- I received a circular for a gifting program that had 5 positions (people) to which I was supposed to send money. Only three of the positions were occupied. The other two said "Free Space". The first three spaces were filled by different people, but each had the same mailing address. Wouldn't it be better to give those positions - free of charge - to unrelated people if you want the circular for a new program to have that lived-in look? Well, I don't do programs so what do I know?
--- I found myself on a website promoting an income opportunity. The first thing I checked was the size of the scroll bar tab on the right side of the screen. It was tiny. This told me right away that the page was a mile long. To me, a mile-long web page promoting an extra income opportunity, or just about anything else, is too long. I hit the little X and moved on.
