11-21-2025 - Good Morning! It's Friday, and that probably doesn't mean a lot in the world of Extra Income Mail Order. The U.S. Mail is running, so our mailboxes should be stuffed. People who aren’t Mail Order Dealers talk about how crazy it is to send cash through the mail. I have never lost money in the mail. In fact, after 30+ years, I’m $10 ahead. I once received an order for something I was selling, along with a $10 bill. However, there was no return address on the envelope or the paperwork inside. All I could do was post it to my bulletin board and wait for the angry “where’s my order” letter. It never arrived. After a few years, I accepted the money as mine. My Folgers Black Silk coffee is ready.
--- When it comes to “print & mail” offers, I see a very wide range of pricing. Which is the better deal? We all know the price of paper. We all know the cost of postage. I doubt that many Mail Dealers have a printing press at home. If they use the copy feature on a small-office copier, ink will get very expensive. If they’re using a local “copy shop”, we know the general cost of that service, and it’s not exactly cheap. Bulk mailing lowers costs, but only to a point. Is your material actually being mailed, or relegated to a "Big Mail", waiting for people to purchase it? What I’m saying is that we need to run some of the “print & mail” deals through a calculator and see if the quoted price aligns with real-world costs. We can also ask the advertising dealer for details. I once used a print & meail dealer to distribute a circular (1000 copies) that offered an absolutely free service to Mail Order Dealers. The only order I received was from the print & mail dealer.
--- From the U.S. Attorney's Office, Middle District of Florida - Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Charlene E. Honeywell has sentenced Ah’Jhzae Diamondric Artag Berry (30, St. Petersburg) to five years and five months in federal prison for bank fraud and theft of mail. Berry pleaded guilty on June 4, 2025. According to court documents, on many occasions, usually at night, between January and June 2024, Berry, aided and abetted by others, broke into U.S. Postal Service receptacles using a stolen Postal Service key. Berry stole the mail and opened it to remove contents of value, including debit cards, credit cards, gift cards, and checks. On at least one occasion, Berry stole election ballots. Berry and his accomplices then altered the payee on the stolen checks and fraudulently deposited them at federally insured banks. In total, they victimized hundreds of individuals with a total intended loss of over $380,000.
--- From the U.S. Postal Service - "Amber F. McReynolds was unanimously re-elected chair of the USPS Board of Governors on Nov. 14, while Derek Kan was re-elected as vice chair. This will be the second term for both."
--- Do you remember how some dealers would accuse other dealers of hiding behind a P.O. Box instead of using a "real" address? I think the days of hiding ended not long after 9/11. Have you seen the identification hoops you have to jump through to get a P.O. Box now? You now need (1.) a primary form of identification that includes a clear photograph of the individual bearer and (2) a secondary form of identification such as a lease, mortgage, or deed of trust, voter or vehicle registration card, or home or vehicle insurance policy. So, stop looking down at those who use a P.O. Box. I used one years ago, but I don't use one now. Why drive to the Post Office when the Post Office can drive to me?
+++ A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.
--- It was around 1995 or so when an adsheet or ad magazine publisher declared that he would not accept ads for Multi-Level Marketing programs. I don't think gifting programs were around at that time. I don't remember how that worked out for him, but I don't think "programs" constituted the bulk of advertising back then. Today, it's a different story.
11-20-2025 - Good Morning! It's Thursday. I continue to fine-tune the PDF file advertising offer. I haven't received any ads yet, so there shouldn't be a problem. It's plain to see that this advertising offer is vastly different from those found in other print and online platforms. On a different note, in the 1960s, my father predicted that in the 1980s, it would cost $1.00 to mail a letter. I don’t know why he thought that, but I’m glad he was wrong! We’re approaching that $1.00 mark, but 40 years later than he predicted. My Folgers Black Silk coffee is ready.
--- Don't forget to check the latest information reports!
--- The country has turned out some great people in the past, and there are some others who are not so great that ought to be turned out as well.
--- Today, I received an advertising program promoted using Multi-Level Marketing and two gifting programs. One gifting program tried to disguise itself as a Multi-Level Marketing program. The other gifting program came with a 90-day money-back guarantee. I don't see too many guarantees with gifting programs! I also received a postcard with all hype and no substance. I have no idea what was being promoted other than it would make me a lot of money.
--- Developing your own product or service takes time, but programs such as MLM and gifting programs can be joined, and mailings can start within days. Since the COVID pandemic, it seems like the number of programs I receive in the mail has almost doubled. Is this a sign of people panicking and wanting to get another stream of income up and running as quickly as possible? I don't know. As I've mentioned before, I get the same programs in the mail time and again, from different dealers. Maybe slow is fast. It's slow to develop your own product or service, but it's better in the long run for dependable income.
--- Have you been around long enough to remember those huge cash deposits you had to leave to rent a movie video? One place in my city charged a $50 deposit per video. That kind of put a damper on those folks wanting to binge! Those were the days.
--- I received yet another gifting program in the mail today. The instructions said to mail a $10 money order and ten First Class stamps to the four people listed. One was the sender, but I guess he didn’t care about getting the money, since he scribbled his name and address in an area about the size of a postage stamp.
