11-25-2025 - Good Morning! It's Tuesday. A few years ago, there was a story on the The Vindicator website, about a Youngstown, Ohio man who received a 1-year sentence, and designation as a sex offender, following his conviction for groping a female USPS Letter Carrier. The story said the man "ran up to her vehicle, grabbed her and began rubbing himself all over her, grabbing her body and rubbing his genitals on her." See earlier post about Postal Police Officers.
+++ It takes a thousand nuts to hold an automobile together, but just one to spread it all over the landscape.
--- I saw a sales circular with "fine print" explaining what was being sold. Why? Because very little of that was covered in the main body. Why? Because it's not really about the product; it's about recruiting people to sell it. The product itself? Nothing special. It's available anywhere you look in the Extra Income Mail Order industry. Can we make simple product and service sales great again?
--- In the news - Job losses accelerate, AI could replace 40% of American jobs, Retail sales cool, Turkey prices up 24%, College grads face tough job market.
11-24-2025 - Good Morning! It's Monday, and the mail will start flowing again. I hope you are preparing your ads for the Dealer Ad Exchange PDF. Remember, Confucius said: "Never turn down free PDF file advertising!" My coffee is ready.
--- I saw an old article on the Federal News Network website indicating that the U.S. Postal Service has expressed concern about the duties and pay of Postal Police Officers. These officers are part of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and are stationed in Postal facilities across the nation. Apparently, the USPS wants to restrict PPO jurisdiction to USPS property and pay them at the same level as armed security officers or campus police officers. Letter Carriers think PPOs should do more patrolling of delivery routes due to an increase in robberies of carriers. Should they be law enforcement or security guards? That seems to be the question.
--- In the news - More Americans are having their electricity turned off due to unpaid utility bills, a crypto crash is eroding wealth among certain groups, we may already be in a recession, people holding on to devices longer are hurting the economy, and Americans are buckling under medical bills.
--- The U.S. Federal Trade Commission reminds us that "Ships from the USA" doesn't mean "Made in the USA". Read product descriptions closely, check "review" and "scam" websites, and ask questions.
--- One advantage of the large text allowance for advertising is that you have room to write things like "Self-Addressed, Stamped Envelope" instead of just S.A.S.E. There are people - and I've seen them online - who have no idea what S.A.S.E. means. Plus, some don't even understand the concept of the S.A.S.E. because they've been "pointing & clicking" their entire lives.
