--- 12-03-2025 - From the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics - Economics Daily - Job openings rates increased in 2 states in August 2025 - December 04, 2025 - Job openings rates increased in 2 states and were little changed in 48 states and the District of Columbia in August 2025. The increases in job openings rates occurred in Florida and Illinois (+0.6 percentage point each). August job openings rates ranged from 5.5 percent in West Virginia and 5.4 percent in Georgia, to 3.5 percent in Pennsylvania and Washington. Over the month, the national job openings rate was unchanged at 4.3 percent. These data are from the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey and are seasonally adjusted.
